Handcrafted Steel Butterfly Trellis. Inspired by the monarch overwintering sites located in Pacific Grove California. Design and fabrication by Figley's Artistic Expressions. Trellis is hand-formed and welded with 095 wall steel, butterflies and branches are hand drawn, cut and hammered to shape using 1/8 inch flat metal and various sizes of steel rod.

This handcrafted steel trellis and butterflies are designed for long-lasting beauty indoors or out. Three legs allow for easy anchoring and stability, both in soil and out (maybe used on patios, decks and indoors). The back leg is adjustable to achieve several displaying angles. The bottom of each leg has been designed to accept anchoring pegs thus, no need to dig placement holes in the ground. NOTE: Some pieces of art work are scuffed and placed outside to naturally encourage aging. Some pieces are also fabricated from re-purposed materials to capture natural aging, original colors and unique imperfections. Colors may also vary due to types of metal be used and painting the materials with fire (burnishing produces varied colors). The butterflies also vary in wing position because hand hammered materials do not replicate machine-punched items. Sizing may slightly vary due to handcrafted approach. No repeatable machine punching is used. Each piece is individually hand crafted.
